$2700 is a good deal nowadays for a stock(ish) working NA with less than 200k on the odo

Your not wrong. I bought my NA8 for $3500 with a set of winter tires two summers ago for $3500. It had 123k miles then. I thought I overpaid a little but it was worth getting a M-edition car. But when I look on Craigslist now I don’t feel bad because stock/ well kept Miatas are starting to dwindle in number.

It’s sort of true, which is a shame since it shouldn’t “really” be worth that much... but yeah, when I was looking seriously at NAs, $2500 or so was about the price of entry.
